Livestrong Treadmill model - LS8.OT

The Treadmill:

An essential training tool for the runner who does not wish to compromise speed and safety during the cold and icey Canadian winters.

  • Training Effectiveness

  • This treadmill has 2.5 CHP (continuous horse power) and goes up to 12 miles per hour and a 12% incline. It is stable when running at the higher speeds, and offers a soft ride. – I push my treadmill to the higher speeds when doing interval workouts so this was key to me. The next model up does have a higher CHP, but does not have a higher speed. The running surface is spacious, with a 20″ x 55″ deck.
  • Stylishness

  • The build in speakers for your Ipod/MP3 device and the built in fan make this a styling machine. It is also very easy to fold up and vacuum underneath or slide into a corner, making for an easily added piece of equipment into a small area. It looks sleek and stable.
  • Affordability

  • Very affordable as far as treadmills go, at $849 (Canadian currency). This model was half price at the local Canadian Tire, so it was a great deal for me. Many similarly priced treadmills only go up to 10 miles per hour and are not as stable, so I found this to be a very well priced machine. I will report back in a year on durability!
